Toronto, le 14 novembre 2022 \u2014 Noa Mendelsohn Aviv, directrice g\u00e9n\u00e9rale et avocate g\u00e9n\u00e9rale de l\u2019Association canadienne des libert\u00e9s civiles, a fait aujourd\u2019hui la d\u00e9claration suivante \u00e0 propos de l\u2019abrogation du projet de loi 28 :<\/p>\n

Aujourd'hui, le Gouvernement de l'Ontario a abrog\u00e9 le projet de loi 28. Cette loi n'aurait jamais d\u00fb \u00eatre d\u00e9pos\u00e9e et constituait une atteinte aux droits et libert\u00e9s de chaque personne au Canada.<\/p>\n

Le Premier ministre de l'Ontario doit s'engager aujourd'hui, publiquement et par \u00e9crit, \u00e0 ne plus jamais invoquer la disposition de d\u00e9rogation.<\/p>\n

Chacun des gouvernements du pays, qu'il soit provincial, territorial et f\u00e9d\u00e9ral, doit comprendre que la Charte repr\u00e9sente notre aspiration \u00e0 une soci\u00e9t\u00e9 libre et juste - et nous nous battrons pour la prot\u00e9ger.<\/p>\n
